staff profile - adam lott
Adam has been working in Sydney for the last ten years but you wouldn’t know it; sounds like he’s fresh off the boat from New Zealand, bro! He gets along very well with the boss, as they both live and breathe surfing. Some people think he’s the favourite. He is very good at fitting into small spaces, and needs to eat more pizza to make Paul and Sam feel less conscious about their physiques. In all seriousness, he is a bloody tops plumber... one of the best plumbers we’ve ever seen. The best thing is, he is very humble and an all-round nice guy. He gets along well with Sam due to their kiwi bond and their love of football. We call them the dynamic duo!
Adam grew up in Gisborne, New Zealand, where he completed most of his schooling. At the age of 13 he moved to Fiji, where he was home-schooled while his dad ran a Surf and Dive School. Other than school work, Adam’s day consisted of a morning surf and spear fishing of an afternoon for three years. On returning to Gisborne, Adam worked as a crew member on a crayfishing boat for three years, and also spent a couple of years milking some cows 🐄. At the age of 21 he decided to take on a plumbing apprenticeship and has never looked back. Adam is a huge supporter of the Auckland Warriors AND loves a good coffee ☕️. By 2008 Adam was ready for a seachange, and landed on our Aussie shores. After ten years of living in Sydney, Adam and his wife Bec decided it was time to escape the hectic city lifestyle for a more relaxed and chilled life on the Goldy. Adam and Bec are loving their new lifestyle here, and we are happy to have them join our plumbing family 😊
